I want it to have a lot of pop, not degrade over time, and not be the most expensive bat on the menu. I wouldn’t mind paying over $200, but nothing over $300.

  1. Check out http://www.softball.com, or softballfans.com. Softball fans will have reviews on most of the bats that they sell, and several are marked down from their original prices.
If you can get your hands on a 2003 Easton Synergy Extended, or a 2006 Synergy Flex, you might be able to pick one up for around $200. Also, some of Worth’s Mayhem line can be found for about $200 as well. You usually trade durability for performance, so your $200+ bat might not last as long as you’d like, but they do come with 1 year warranties, so swing away.

  2. It doesn’t matter since it’s slow pitch softball.
