Easton 2009 SCN12 Stealth IMX Plus Softball Bat – Size 34/30

When purchasing an expensive Easton bat make sure you check the warranty. I purchased a stealth for a Christmas present. It was deemed unsafe by umpires due to cracking around the handle. Easton told me it was out of warranty even though it had only been through one season. My experience with Easton has been one of horrible customer service. They do not respond to e-mails or written letters, meanwhile the softball season goes on.

Two Easton Stealth comp bats, both cracked at the handle. One was only 1 month past the warranty (so 1 baseball season) the other lasted through one season and the start of practice of the second. Totally unacceptable for $500+. I will stick to non-easton, non-composite bats and let all the other coaches, managers, and players/parents know to avoid wasting money on this crap.
